Bulldog E-Sports offers both casual and competitive video games at Albuquerque High School. Our competitive season runs in the Spring, but the club meets year-round. All skill levels welcome!

EARN UP TO 6 COLLEGE CREDITS, ECONOMICS AND GOVERNMENT CREDIT, AND UP TO 19.5 ELECTIVE CREDITS! This program will help prepare you for success in the world of work and as a business leader of tomorrow. Completing two years of this program will fulfill the Economics graduation requirement. By completing 3 years of this program you will receive 6 college credits for Introduction to Business and Financial Literacy from CNM. You will also be eligible for National Honors Awards from the International DECA organization. Students also have the opportunity to travel throughout the year to Marketing Conferences and competitions. Through your involvement in DECA you can also earn an academic letter all four years! You also have the opportunity to earn as many as 2 full credits per year for work experience. Through completion of this program, you will develop an understanding of economics and marketing. You will also develop business poise, confidence and leadership abilities.

International Thespian Troupe 1775 is the theatre honor society. Invitations to join Troupe 1775 come in the Spring and are based upon a student's work in theatre.

Are you curious about the performing arts? Whether it's acting, production, set design, or sound checks, there's a place for you here! We work on one show a month, so get ready for some fun! By working on the shows, you can gain hours towards membership in the troupe. Most shows are open to all students, so please check the website for audition information, or come by the Green Room (Room 601) for more information.

High School Mock Trial Program helps New Mexico teens gain an understanding of the legal system by providing opportunities for school teams to participate in academic competitions where players assume attorney and witness roles in a court case.  Mock Trial helps students to improve proficiency in such basic skills as listening, speaking, reading, and reasoning, and it fosters cooperation among diverse groups of young people.

The AHS Poetry Club is well-known around the school and around Albuquerque. We have a passion for writing, reading, and emulating those writers who have inspired us along the way.

Our club members have competed in numerous festivals across the southwest and west coast, where they have earned several first place awards. Student work has been published locally and nationally.
